Incredible Indian fusion restaurant with wonderfully modern decor. I love the colored and clear glass blown art hanging from the ceiling. This is a perfect spot for date night, a large party, and everything in between. They serve all of the classic Indian dishes, along with some noddle plates, and even a papaya salad. I actually don't even like papaya, but this was amazing! Mixed with mango, cucumber, and arugula drizzled with a sweet chutney marinade. The butter naan was perfectly soft and flavorful, as were both of our dishes and the rice. The Aloo Gobi is a very filling meal that consists of potatoes, onions, and cauliflower mixed with Indian spices and seasonings. It's my favorite thing to get. All of the entrees include a single flower on top. It was a lovely finishing touch. Oh and the music playlist was electronica without any pauses. Like a DJ set. We loved it! We loved it all! I will be back soon with everyone I know.

Food is so delicious and service was very nice. Worth coming. Try the chicken Puntine and chicken tikka masala. Restaurant was beautiful as well

We have dined here several times and the food is pretty good. We recently had a surprise birthday for my dad here and it was great! Sanjay the Chef was always responsive when I contacted him and he was accommodating to our needs. On the day of the party we were able to arrive early and did small decor and arranged things how we wanted which was great. The food they made for our event was fresh and tasted great as well. The staff was very attentive and communicated with us very well also. If you are looking for a place to have a small event then I would definitely recommend Yantra, and if you have not tried their food then check it out. Out of all indian testaurants in Artesia, I would choose to go back to Yantra for future events that we host.

Great meal, great attention to detail, great service. I don't know why it took me so long to finally try this place, but I hope it succeeds and I hope it gets the praise it deserves. Not only was the food delicious (we only tried the authentic dishes, I will try some of the fusion menu next time), I thought the attention to detail from the flavor of the chutney to the specific flavors was on point. Will be back!

Came here for lunch on a weekday. The restaurant is clean and decorated nicely making the ambience feel more high quality. The staff was friendly enough. We ordered 1 app and 2 entrees which was waaay more than enough for 3 adults. Food was good and I could eat it butter chicken forever if my stomach allowed. Chicken was a bit dry in my opinion but the flavors were overall good and the food seemed to be of good quality.

This is a delicious, authentic Indian restaurant, located in Artesia, CA...Little India. I visited this restaurant with friends who were visiting from India. The Mango Lassi is a delicious yogurt beverage. As Indian food can be quite spicy, the yogurt helps to take some of the heat away. At my friend's suggestion, I ordered the Butter Paneer Masala. This is a chicken dish, in a creamy tomato sauce, served over white rice. It too was very good! Portions are generous to share or take home for lunch tomorrow. The staff were excellent. They patiently described menu items to those unfamiliar. The restaurant is well kept, clean and nicely decorated. Parking is available on the street and in a rear parking lot.

Great food at Yantra Kitchen. I LOVE their Baingan Bhartha! It is different than other places as there is more of a smoky taste to their Baingan Bhartha, which I really enjoyed. Here are the other items we ordered: - Pakoras (good) gotta eat it with the Mint Chutney and Tamarind sauces - Garlic Naan (always delicious) - Ocean King Prawns (ok, I don't think I would order it again) - Chai (really good, but no free refills) Interior was clean and modern. Service was excellent! But I have been here other times where it was pretty bad. Some staff member gave me extra items that I did not order and was charged for it. Other than that, everyone was very friendly. Thank you Yantra Kitchen for my favorite Baingan Bhartha!

Unique Indian fusion experience. Heavy on the bright colored food and decor. My mango lassi was a dessert in a glass. Very sweet, candy sprinkles included. Really enjoyed the garlic naan. Warm, soft, and fresh. Don't let the tri-colored chicken throw you off. Bright red, bright green, and black. Each color has a flavor all its own. Delicious. Service was good. Plenty of metered parking.

Yantra Kitchen is a very good Indian fusion restaurant located in the heart of Little India. What they offer is a really wide selection of food based in the cuisine of India. What's different about this restaurant, compared to many of the other restaurants in the area, is that they really put just enough of a twist on their dishes that they really become very interesting. The interior of this restaurant is very nicely designed. You can tell that when they took over the space they really did and very nice redesign. The overall area is open, airy, and the tables are well spaced apart. They also have a nice outdoor dining space. So, you have your choice. The one thing I will say is that you really need to be strong about telling the hostess where you want to sit. For example, on my most recent visit to this restaurant, we walked in, and we were the first people there. We were given a table and that was fine. The problem was, the next people that came in the hostess sat them right next to us. So, for a long time, all we could hear was their loud conversation going on just a foot or so away from us. As the restaurant filled up, as the day went on, this became not quite such a problem. But, I believe that they should really teach their staff that it's really the best idea to separate customers when they come in and the restaurant has not yet filled up. This is just something to keep in mind, because I'm sure they're happy to seat you at any table that is open if you ask for a specific location. Overall, I really enjoy this restaurant. The food is very well prepared with very good ingredients. There's a lot of variety you can choose from. And, it's a fun place to eat.
